A Cancer eating love

It’s getting harder to love

ego or something is always eating it up

just like religion, it limits you from flying

try not to jump for you might die

I have heard fables told from your daughter's mouth

the lies are believable, tell a truth and hold your breath

mask, masks, masked, I have lost my bride

might ride alone, but its never going to be the same

what’s eating your heart up

the death of a mother, or the loss of a wife, Patience I truly miss — Odis

O this, I bitterly feel

I am leaving this message in a bottle

just in case they asked who your father is?

His name is Love, he abodes up above

I have emptied countless bottles

oh, wards! at countless counsels

I am praying my mind gets settled

from this love hyperbole

your heart is what they rebel

don’t tell me you love me

for your excuse to want me

don’t lie to me that you need me

for your excuse to use me

don’t tell me to change

for your excuse to mirror me

I am leaving excerpts for you

an array of words on an empty note

shelved on divine oaths

these sheep are wolves, they are out to steal your souls.
