Can you see in the dark?

I told myself tonight that it was the perfect time to write, I felt lonely and cool, oh! not a depressing kind of feeling but a meditational one. It was dark (No electricity), then slowly I made it to my room amidst the darkness, I lived here all my life actually, so I know the whole house by heart. I picked up my pen and notepad, luckily I had a lighter that has a touch, my recipe for write-ness.

I closed my eyes to try and meditate for a while, but you have no ideas what the trenches feels like, the kids of my neighbors happily raising their voices and drumming on whatever they come by, the students closing from schools and gossiping about their days and that of their peers, or the furniture guy just blocks away making noises with his machinery, or the sound of your daddy walking in returning home from work, the little things and bigger noise that fickle our hearts away from voices that we can hear and can’t see.

Their diverse world fills up my empty head, why my heart analyses from a Cauchy chair, in darkness I learnt to live in there, with my eyes closed yet I see the waves in the dark, he lives in both the light and the darkness.

How else would you see in the dark? if you don’t have the light of the heart.

To see in the dark, you see much more than your eyes, you need a heart with a light inside of it.

These are waves from my heart, I share them only when I can.
